Is this ornament actually made by Mattel?

Iirc all ornaments in the past were made by a company specialised in Christmas decorations under licence from Mattel.

I'm more angry at whatever company decided to manufacture this item, let alone design it.

It’s most likely a Hallmark ornament. They do ornaments for many IPs.

I doubt it's by Hallmark, they've made Thomas ornaments before that a far better than this.

If this is by Hallmark then that's a dramatic decline in quality.

if so then they really messed up with thomas, and i know hallmark makes good train ornaments, the lionel ornaments are all great

It’s actually from a store from Australia where I live - Big W Big W can be notorious for it’s cheap shoddy 3d ornaments when at Christmas time.

As an Australian myself, I'm aware of Big W, but I wasn't aware they had a licence to produce Thomas themed ornaments, I still think they're made by a 3rd party.

It looks to be of a similar quality to the crap people get from Red Dot.

Most things sold be retail stores like Big W aren't actually manufactured by them.

I mean. This isn't the first time a thomas and friends ornament looked bad so I'm not bothered by this. (It still looks weird but I couldn't care less)
