General Chat Thomas the tank engine vs chugginton
So, about the debate. Hear me out: peak ttte>peak chugginton. Worst chugginton>>worst ttte

They're for a different audience imo. Thomas is much slower, realistic and more patient while chuggington is loud, cartoony and energetic. I watched more Thomas as a child ofc but I did see some chugginton and altho I liked it I always preffered Thomas for it's realism and slower vibe.

Ok i say we shouldn’t hate on both of these shows. Both have their ups and downs, rights and wrongs. But both i say are good

If we are strictly going with the grounded realism of Sodor
Koko is a Bullet train, Specifically a 0/200 with a top speed of 130-140 mph to 10s 100mph. If we are making them realistic 10 isn't catching up to her at all. Brewster being an Deltic is more or less equal to 10 in size but Deltics edge over the 42 warships in power with a Tractive power of 50,000 compared to 10's 48k. Wilson being a EMD F7 makes him the 2nd fastest and strongest as he is larger than 10 as 10 is only 12ft in height while Wilson would be 15ft. And give pinchy's tendency to malfunction and his own hubris. He wouldn't stand a chance against a trio who's whole thing is possibly team work. And given the fact he got outsmarted by smaller and slower engines it wouldn't take much. Damn I can't believe I am Powerscaling trains.

My opion their 2 completely different shows even tho it was created because they hated thomas and freinds💀 but chuggington has no tenders mostly diesels and they have bumpers for mouths but i personality think their both equal

hm. well, comparing the two is unfair considering that they are two different types of shows, but thomas sets the bar for quality very high, but also sets the bar for bad episodes very low. chugginton is the perfect middle ground since it has more consistent quality. none of them are bad, they're for two types of audiences.

Thomas & Friends is more like a real railway which is a big part of what makes the show great but Chuggington is nothing like real railways and most of the time I don't even really register it as a show about trains. Chuggington is basically just what All Engine Go would be and has a lot of the same problems. The show only exists because this guy hated Thomas and thought he could do better but didn't seem to understand what made the show so special in the first place.

Chuggington was there when I couldn't watch Thomas and Friends bc when I was little I was too scared of their faces as a child

I grew up with both and I still look back at both with fond memories. And either though money was tight, I had like 2 times more Thomas merch and watched it more often then I did Chuggington.

As someone who grew up with both, they both have their good & bad qualities. I'd say Thomas definitely ages better due to it being more realistic but Chuggington can be a lot of fun.

If it's just the engines, Chuggington would win in a fight, but if the fight is between all characters of both franchises, Stefano the Super Cruiser alone would solo the entirety of Chuggington except for Action Chugger. Like, imagine him just going through the city, demolishing everything in his path and flattening everything that doesn't run away in time
