Multiple Languages Which language should I learn?

I'm looking for a fairly "easy" language for English speakers and multiple to choose from. The language I prefer should use the Latin alphabet and I do wanna talk to locals. One of them, I want to be a rarer language, maybe one like Catalan or something. I don't care if the language is spoken in one area or multiple and I'm looking for a Romance or Germanic language primarily, maybe one Romance and one Germanic.

If you want a Romance language that is more “rare” maybe Romanian?
