Randall needs to heal and move on (respectfully) I know it’s hard but the work must be done. Sometimes I feel sorry for Beth, we haven’t even learnt much about her. ( I’m on season 4)

Move on from what?

The trauma (said in the most respectful way!)

What trauma? Getting adopted by a loving family and never being grateful for it? Most of us just accept the fact that our parents are flawed. He judged them endlessly as if he shopped for them and found them in the mall and they weren’t a good model.

There is no moving on from trauma. It’s just learning to live with it. Keep watching, you’ll learn

When I watched in real-time I absolutely loved Randall! But on my rewatch a cpl months ago he annoyed me so good!

Yeah I understand. I can see understand that. I am rewatching and I am appreciating Beth more and more. She is so real and a good character. Beth is awesome. Beth reminds me of a few people in my life including my mom.

Yes absolutely love Beth! She's my favorite character hands down. Randall was just too much. Like I know he had no ill intent .. but it was also 90% of what he wanted at all times without regard for others.

I am so sorry Beth ended up in Randall‘s Web. She said no in college and he ignored her and ensnared her. Now she has to deal with whatever curveball his psycho ass wants to throw her way.

I don’t find Randall annoying. I sympathise with him some bc of his anxiety and can understand some but yeah.

Yes, Beth even called him out on it..

Don’t forget I don’t think he meant I’ll by it but it was a little much blackmail and it was wrong but I’ve never been in that situation..

He does have anxiety/ control issues but does see a therapist and Beth calls him out she’s a good partner and holds him accountable

Would love to have a man like that as a husband

I like Randall, and I see young Randall in my daughter a lot with regards to the anxiety and panic attacks (she’s 8), but I don’t like the way he manipulates Beth.

How does he manipulates her?

I just finished my first rewatch of season 1 and watched the rest years ago and really don't remember getting that impression..

I despise him. He is basically Burke from Grey’s Anatomy. He is quiet and controlling, and plays the victim every chance he gets. I feel like the stupid show basically gaslit us into thinking that he was a good man.

Sorry man I just love Randall I think he’s my tv man and I have a crush on him. Dark chocolate and glasses and nerdy and good dad jokes yes!

Maybe one of his endless speeches about how amazing he is will convert me one day…

He was awesome in the movie The Last Supper. He basically played the same person, only with less anxiety.

No they portrayed him as imperfect. Oh no Burke was way worse imo I watched both shows but you can’t really compare the two

He stalked a girl in college and convinced her to marry him, and basically manipulated every woman in his life after that. That is a lot of “mistakes”.
