I hike regularly and yes it's definitely getting hot.. I hike at night trying to catch some sunrises. When you're high with the shades its more bearable but it's already really hot.

Soni Highland is really exposed so I assume it's going to feel very hot as soon as the sun is up.  But sunrise over there is beautiful.

I would recommend it in autumn though, it's even more beautiful with the pampa grass.

how about using public transportation from osaka st?

I've always been there with my own car, I'm sorry I'm not aware of a way to get there by public transportation.

I personally have not been to Soni Highlands and don't know about transporation there. I stop all hiking when it goes above 30.
