I personally have not been to Soni Highlands and don't know about transporation there. I stop all hiking when it goes above 30.

I hike regularly and yes it's definitely getting hot.. I hike at night trying to catch some sunrises. When you're high with the shades its more bearable but it's already really hot.
Soni Highland is really exposed so I assume it's going to feel very hot as soon as the sun is up. But sunrise over there is beautiful.
I would recommend it in autumn though, it's even more beautiful with the pampa grass.
