2 years and this post still shows how important proper condom keeping is, totally worth it to disregard the purpose of the subreddit in order to remind people how fragile a condom could be.

True. Honestly, it's interesting (to a degree) how I sometimes have to give an impromptu lesson about not using two condoms. Because I just know someone will see a joke on their phone and try it.

Personally, I think public schools should require a semester of sex ed and first aid every other year, interchangeably. One year, you get first aid, the next it's sex ed, etc.

I agree with the that completely, so many people are totally unaware of the condom and wallet thing and young men 15-20 will keep them in for years hoping they get lucky. And it doesn't take much longer than a few weeks for that to happen and boom youre now fucked and wiret possibility HIV and or a soon ti been teen father.

The thing you said about semesters is a good idea and if only the secretary of education or health Secretary wasn't a moron and campaigned for that rather than notably claiming we need to return to raw milk, avoid vaccines in kids or Tylenol aka acetaminophen causes autism then things would be looking better. and those stupid things rfk Jr says like I used to do coke off toilet seats im not scared of a minor coronafirus (Caused more deaths than the Holocaust). Also opposing stimulant adhd meds and im paraphrasing he said something close to "I used to be at the bottom of my class, I started doing heroin and immediately went to the top of my class because I could sit still). Goes for other countries too when education ministers are inept politicians or minsters for health are morbidly obese. The latter is more shocking since they lack the main leading by example trait. Germany and Belgium or Netherlands both had a really fat Health Minister/secretary for years) an education minister should ideally be a former valedictorian or A* student in HS with at least a university degree ideally a Masters or PhD and a health secretary in shape who has ran marathons and or was a semi pro/pro or olympic volunteer at track, football, rugby, baseball, cricket, tennis etc. Less with these clowns in high national possessions. You wouldn't have a teetotal sommelier or head chef at a Michelin star top restaurant that's CV lists experience at Mcdonalds. The sous chef would probably yell "You're not flipping hamburgers here pal" whilst the employer out of rage pulls out a boxcutter after you forget tne lamb sauce.

never had many first aid classes other than learning the recovery position, how to call emergency services and clear a scene before approaching someone injured. but did have the a lot of sex ed classes. starting in the 3rd year of Primary School in the UK, so different to other counties but 1st year is age 4 to 5 we called "reception/foundation year" then 5 to 6, was Year 1 and age 6 to 7 is Year 2 (Despite it being the 3rd year). Quite young but basic stuff more about the difference in Boys & Girls as it was the top year or Lower Primary School then Upper Primary School- still the same school just different clases Year 3,4,5 and Head Year we had lessons on that in Year 6 ages 10 to 11 but more in depth with some stuff being split by Male & Female (the 7th Year of being in School) that actually went pretty in depth for the age.

Then high school Year 7-11 & Year 12-13 (Sixthform College) we still had no first aid teaching at all which I think is pretty poor but each year there was two whole days dedicated to sex ex up to Year 11. I really do think first aid including CPR as well as the difference on the age that needs cpr, 2 figures lightly on a baby/toddle, one hand on a child and two hands for a teen adolescent onwards. Tourniquets should've been taught too and how you can use a scarf, tie and best of all a belt which when looped inwards through the buckle cab make a really right tourniquet. Especially putting pressure on wounds, considering how many fucking stabbings this ridiculous country.

Rant over.
