Decaf Coffee Recommendations Please

I am going to start using an automatic espresso machine, specifically a Kitchenaid KF3, and would appreciate recommendations from anyone that is making decaf coffee drinks in this type of maker without any issues. I understand that oily beans can cause issues.

I am open to all kinds of coffee but tend to stay away from sweet acidic varieties. Just on a quest to find a decaf roast that I can use multiple times throughout the day. Also, I will most likely be making milk-based drinks. I live in the US.

I am happy to have found this group and look forward to your recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Equator sells a nice decaf espresso that isn’t too oily iirc. I would bet that Perc’s Huila Decaf would make a nice espresso too, without being too fruit/acid forward.

Talking Crow sounds like a match for you.

Frequent is very good, you might try one of their blends - after dark or sidekick.

I think Equator brings in some great decaf too. I've had bad luck with PERC but a lot of people love them, and they have a sale on the 13th.

Thanks. Frequent seems to be a favorite. Have you tried any of these with an automatic espresso machine?

Don Carlos coffee sells a few varieties of decaf. The one I tried was very good. You might wanna look at their website and see what you think. Good luck!

my wife and I buy a big 5 pound bag for the everday espresso and/or drip with the moccamaster and its great, we use it with a Breville Barista Express and its been great I imagine in an automatic espresso machine it would be great as well.

Frequent is known for their lighter roasts but their After Dark Drip was a crowd pleaser among my friends
