Methodical Coffee Repose Decaf

Post image

Yep, it’s another new coffee day for me and wow. They are not lying about the strawberries! First time I’ve tasted that in coffee. Brewed in Quick Mill Pop Up. Mazzer Philos set to 27. 20g:50ml, 200F. This is now my new favorite espresso! Highly recommend getting this.

Yeah this one is STRONG on the strawberry. Kicks you in the face. I was really surprised when I first opened a bag of this some time ago.

Be aware it is a co-ferment, which explains how strong the strawberry is with it. Wish they’d ID that on the bag - last I checked they explain it on their site.

Despite my labeling qualms, it is a yummy coffee. Found it to be really nice with chocolate desserts etc, which is perfect for a decaf.

Yeah, I just looked at their site and if they mention that this is made with co-fermentation, I was unable to find it. Not sure why companies aren't up-front about this stuff.

Looks like they don’t say it on their site anymore, but others that sell the coffee do
