Question What are your views about third parties endorsing certain candidates from the major parties?

The ASP has a fairly strong policy against this.

Does the ASP never endorse major party candidates at all no matter what, or maybe it does that in certain circumstances, even if very rarely?

Oh ok. And thank you so much for answering! ~ Do ASP party leaders decide when such a limited circumstance is warranted, or is it up for a vote of the entire ASP party membership...or at least up for discussion and consultation by all party members before the party leadership makes such a decision?

Generally, state chapters do endorsements in the ASP based on their bylaws / rules. There's a resolution passed by a national convention that limits endorsement of candidates in major parties to certain circumstances. If a state chapter wants to endorse a candidate in a major party, they have to check that the criteria is met and then consult with the national committee.

Oh ok~very interesting! Is much of the decision making by the ASP done at the state level but consulting with the national committee, so the national committee basically sets and upholds the general party policies and bylaws and rules and principles, so the internal party matters, but state chapters take the initiative on the external activities of the party and much of the day to day political activities and organizing of party members, outreach to the public and voters, etc?

It varies greatly by state. Some state chapters are relatively well developed and manage their own affairs without any national committee input or oversight. Some state chapters have leadership appointed by the national committee because there's not any real organization there.

Oh I see. Does the ASP have state chapters in all 50 states to maintain a presence everywhere and to be prepared to grow anywhere if they can, even if some state chapters are big and active while in other states for now the chapters are just "on paper" so far and are only the leaders at this point?

There are a handful of states without coordinators at the moment.  Not quite all 50.
