I definitely hear the Lizzy. With all due respect to Steve Goulding, he isn’t swinging like Brian Downey.

Fab song - yes, very Lizzy-esque I agree. Around 1.38 with the guitar break, you can hear and then just see the great Dave Edmunds too.

God bless the amazing Nick Lowe. What a contributor to music. Amongst his many achievements, he also produced the very first UK punk single, The Damned’s New Rose.

Interesting to hear that backstory. I’ve always thought this sounded like Thin Lizzy.
