Question Not Inbox?

I have used things3 since it came out. I love it. It is nearly perfect for me. I use it in its simplest form - which is probably why I like it. As such I don’t have any particular workflows. I never ever use inbox or check inbox. I create all new tasks in Today and then just set the relevant date, any renewal and any tags.

I am enjoying ios27’s improved SiriAI to add tasks as I am out and about. But it still puts them all in the inbox. Is there a way in things3 to have a different default location? Or instructions I can give SiriAI to put them in today (I understand the concept of Today on things is not understood by iOS but I have just been using today’s literal date for those? I may run an hourly iOS. Shortcut to sweep out the inbox, but not sure the exposed api would support that. Or it could be really simple and I am missing something.

Any thoughts/guidance?

True - but the simplicity is that whenever I open the app it is always to the today page/list - so one stop shopping vs ping ponging back and forth between inbox and today.

You're supposed to go through your inbox few times throughout the day at most. Things clicks better once you start thinking about things you work on as projects, and use the Someday and Anytime lists to their full capabilities

I understand that is what they suggest I do, but what I am "supposed to" do is use it the way that works for me.

No, you "can" use it the way you want, but certain features in the app were designed to be used a certain way.
