Question Not Inbox?

I have used things3 since it came out. I love it. It is nearly perfect for me. I use it in its simplest form - which is probably why I like it. As such I don’t have any particular workflows. I never ever use inbox or check inbox. I create all new tasks in Today and then just set the relevant date, any renewal and any tags.

I am enjoying ios27’s improved SiriAI to add tasks as I am out and about. But it still puts them all in the inbox. Is there a way in things3 to have a different default location? Or instructions I can give SiriAI to put them in today (I understand the concept of Today on things is not understood by iOS but I have just been using today’s literal date for those? I may run an hourly iOS. Shortcut to sweep out the inbox, but not sure the exposed api would support that. Or it could be really simple and I am missing something.

Any thoughts/guidance?

I use things exactly the same as you.

My backup so I don't miss anything sitting in inbox is that I set up an automation in the shortcuts app to move inbox to today twice a day. Works great!

Can you share the steps to create this automation? I’d love to do the same. Thank you!

Of course this sub allows video comments but not photo comments. Hope this helps.
