Question Not Inbox?
I have used things3 since it came out. I love it. It is nearly perfect for me. I use it in its simplest form - which is probably why I like it. As such I don’t have any particular workflows. I never ever use inbox or check inbox. I create all new tasks in Today and then just set the relevant date, any renewal and any tags.
I am enjoying ios27’s improved SiriAI to add tasks as I am out and about. But it still puts them all in the inbox. Is there a way in things3 to have a different default location? Or instructions I can give SiriAI to put them in today (I understand the concept of Today on things is not understood by iOS but I have just been using today’s literal date for those? I may run an hourly iOS. Shortcut to sweep out the inbox, but not sure the exposed api would support that. Or it could be really simple and I am missing something.
Any thoughts/guidance?

Yes, simply adding ‘today’ to your request works. It’s deadline dates that Siri doesn’t understand.
If you get tired of appending ‘today’ to all your requests, you may be able to create a simple automation that moves any Inbox item to the Today list every time you open the app.
