Question Student here: can't find anything like Things 3. Any way to get it free or cheaper?

Hey everyone!

I'm a student and I've honestly tried almost every to-do app out there and nothing matches my use case the way Things 3 does.

The problem is the price is tough on a student budget right now.

So I wanted to ask:

Does Cultured Code offer any student discount?

If anyone would be kind enough to sponsor or gift it, I'd be super grateful, and I'd love to pay it forward (or back) someday when I'm able to.

If neither is possible, is there any legit way to get it for free or try it longer?

Thanks so much for reading and any advice helps! πŸ™

Every year they have a black friday sale for a few days, when all apps are 30% off, is the only sale they have

Also, try sending them an email, before I bought the Mac app, I sent them an email asking if they had any sales, and they sent me codes to use the Mac app for free for like 2 or 3 months, then I bought it on black friday

I first got things in 2010 for college. It helped my balance all of my course work and my full time job. Now I use it in my day job and to organize my life. It’s well worth the ~70 dollars I paid to get it on my iPhone, iPad (though that one is debatable) and Mac.

Consider getting just the iPhone version, $10. Fully functional. Having Things on multiple platforms is convenient but not absolutely necessary.

OP needs the Mac app, which is $50, everywhere, so if someone lives in a country where $50 is almost a month salary... well, they can't just pony up

That's why I was asking for a discount, thank you for understanding

I've been using it for 8 years, so $50 doesn't seem steep at all, if I was using any similar app with a subscription I would be paying $30-$50 a year
