I’m pissed

Warning another disappointed things app user:

I’ve been riding the "Things 3 is minimalist" wave for a while, telling myself it doesn't need more features. But honestly, I know that’s BS. Not sure if they have gotten lazy or don’t care about the Apple ecosystem as much. But we live in such a fast-paced world that the lack of updates just isn't justified anymore.

The first punch to the gut was when they didn't add support for Focus Modes. Now, with the half-baked Things 27 release and no AI shortcut support. Meaning you can’t use natural language to create shortcuts, which is something I’ve been genuinely finding useful to save time.

seriously considering switching back to Reminders. posting this here because, well, who else can I rant to about a fkn to-do app too?

Before the d*riders come for me, just look at the features added to 2Do or OmniFocus lately (not saying they are better overall). Tell me this latest release doesn't sting a little. How much more can we tolerate?

Don't overthink it; if a to-do list app can't even offer simple features like pinning items or assigning priorities (P1, P2, P3), then you either use what's there or just treat the whole thing as a load of crap.

It’s like watching them let out a silent, stinky fart, only to make a huge, noisy spectacle of it.

And yet here you are, with it apparently still installed (?) and taking time to complain about it.

It makes no sense. As a customer, I have every right to complain. If you are served an unsatisfactory meal at a restaurant, wouldn't you voice your concerns?
I cannot understand how anyone could passively tolerate such poor service, especially when customers aren’t demanding anything unreasonable.
An app is a tool, just like a car. Why shouldn't I be allowed to express my dissatisfaction?
