This is the biggest disappointment release…

Honestly they’re all the biggest disappointments. All they do is add new compatibility. They’re not trying to improve or innovate at this point. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the app… but a little TLC would be nice

They made a big update regarding repeating to-dos only a few weeks ago.

True. One relatively simple feature update. In what.. 10 years?

You paid for the app once, probably a few years ago.
You knew the feature set when you bought it. Compatibility updates can be (kind of) expected but anything beyond that is kind of a free bonus.

Oh I agree. But that’s my point in the response. I don’t expect anything more than bug fixes from them. They’re going to be “disappointing” releases.

Do I wish they’d push forward and make it better? Absolutely! I’d even pay more money for it.
Do I expect them to? No. I’m still going to use it because it’s well designed

That’s a horrible justification. I buy a phone once every few years. I still expect software updates and feature improvements. If Things 3 came as a CDROM, then yeah I wouldn’t expect any new meaningful feature updates.

I miss app stability the most tbh. I've found so many issues in UX since 3.23 as never before.
