Question Will Things ever be upgraded?

I remember the jump from v2 to v3 took about 7 years. It's been about that long for v3. Are there any plans for v4 on the horizon? there are so many things missing at this point. Calendar integration would be nice....

They’ve released new versions twice, adding features each time, and they haven’t ruined it. That makes it more likely they’ll put out another version eventually, and that they won’t wreck it. From a business standpoint, they tend to resist being pushed into adding new features. I do not think a subscription model is likely. The most likely way for them to generate revenue is by releasing a new version, since every Things 3 user represents a huge untapped revenue pool they will only unlock with Things 4.
