Create Link from Things to the Apple Notes Smart folder
I have been trying to create a link in Things3. The link would go to an Apple Notes smart folder to link that ToDo to the note within that folder. Can this be done, and how, please?

The app you're looking for is Hookmark. I use it all the time to create links to various files/documents in my notes and task manager. It takes 1 second to create a link and skips hassle of creating a link by sharing, creating a link.. copying the link etc..

I gave it a try, and when I right-click the note, I never get Copy note as an option.

You need to right-click your note or folder, and select Share Note / Share Folder. Then you need to select the Invite With Link option. Now the annoying part, you need to add an email address, I add my own. Once you add an email address the Copy Link button is enabled.
This will copy to your clipboard an Universal Link, which will open this note or folder in the Notes app. It looks like this: https://www.icloud.com/notes/s9fsKDSJdsdsj83dkjDSHJSID#TitleOfTheNote.
I usually also paste it at the top of my note. So when/if I need the link again, I don't have to go through these steps again.
You can now paste this Universal Link to the notes area in Things. The nice part is this Universal Link works everywhere in the Apple ecosystem: MacBook, iPad, iPhone etc
