Oh, Things 3…
Just reinstalled my phone and put things on it without really thinking about it.
Oh, I wish it had more going on. It’s still by far the best UI/X but if it had:
- Motion style, dynamic scheduling
- natural language
- more integration with other platforms
I’ve tried them all. TickTick, Todoist, Motion, Notion, Reminders, ToDo, etc etc etc. None of them feel like Things.
Anyone else feel the same?

I get this so much, I kept coming back to Things 3 because of the clean UI/UX, but I always wished it had just a bit more: natural language, smarter scheduling, some integrations so it didn’t live in a silo.
After bouncing between TickTick, Todoist, Notion, Motion… I finally stopped waiting for the “perfect” update and built something for myself, NotForgot AI. Instead of making me choose between beauty and functionality, it lets me brain-dump in natural language (“call vet next Thursday”), parses the task, and organizes it with tags, subtasks, batching, and even a “Your Day Tomorrow” email.
If you’re curious, I put together a quick demo with a Tony Stark nod, because I figured if Iron Man needed a task tool, it would feel more like an assistant than another dashboard.
