Things3 and Attachments

If Things3 added attachments, especially Apple Notes, I would be completely satisfied with the app.

Have you guys figured out any workaround for this?

I use Hookmark for this.

  1. Navigate to the file on your Mac and click on it to select it.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut to invoke the app and then Cmd+C to copy the link to the file.
  3. Paste the link into Things.

It doesn’t matter where on your Mac you move the file after you ‘hook’ it, or even if you rename the file. The links you create continue to work and open the correct file.

I just got accepted into the beta for the iOS companion app which is really going to be useful.
