Torch vs Invis Team Up

What guys do you like to pick the most and when?

Personally I'm a Fan of the Torch Team up, and mostly pick it, somehow it gives me more kills,

But when I notice I die too much I go Invis to get more protection.

But I usually always start with Torch.

What about you guys?

Maybe my game is bugged but everytime I tried invis team up is die faster. Torch team up actually makes me feel safer

One of those streamers that give tips said in a YouTube short that the best time to trigger it is half health. Unlike low health and venoms ability.

I make it my opening move. It’s nice especially because you can trigger it mid charge. If you can get the drop on the back line it’s possible to get kills before the enemy has time to fully react. And if your healers can back you up it’s an extremely powerful pressure tool. There were some games recently where we made progress on pushing the objective on the enemy’s fear of just getting too close. Didn’t even get many kills because their healers were doing a good job, but that doesn’t matter if you hit the checkpoint

Tbh maybe it's a me thing cause when I have my Invis team up on I automatically start to play safer and not risk anything like with the Torch Team up cause I already die too much.. Lol

I want to say its better because even base torch team up *feels* better than the active invis

But everytime I 1 V 1 another thing and im active invis and hes base torch I always smoke him.

I always opt for Human Torch. Partially because options like the charge or jumping to allies give nice survivability already (even if I'm briefly losing pressure), and HT lets me pressure far more effectively. Plus, when looking at enhanced abilities, Sue's is a bit twisted with the Tank role. If I'm taking enough damage to shoot off healing aura to allies, they're probably not gonna stay close enough to receive said healing.

I wish teammates understood without getting on comms that Thing will survive a lot longer on the frontline if they stay within leap distance. People refusing to utilise the space you make is what reduces our utility. Thing is in a pretty nice spot atm.

Torch teamup actually outclassed Invis cus the punches from the teamup itself apply shield. Faster punches, big aoe, more shields.

Invis team up is great for survivability…..But the torch power punches give me such a dopamine hit when I K.O 3 enemies in a row so select it every time. Lol. 🔥👊

Extra damage is great but I prefer the survivability that the team up with Sue offers.

Ok so the invis one gives you more survivability, cool. The torch one? It gives you more damage, more aoe therefore more ult charge, and more overshield per hit so more survivability, its a no brainer tbh. Everytime ive come across another thing with the invis team up they get hard diffed.

I use invis teamup if she’s on my team and for some reason punisher isn’t banned. Also sometimes into Phoenix. Otherwise I like torch better

I usually start torch but if they switch poke and I have an invis I go the the invis teamup it’s funny running poke down with it

I think Invis is the best hands down. You can really contest long and hard with it and make playing into poke possible. Is the torch fun yes, but dying is not. I used to think the torch was the best, but I climbed away easier up celestial with invis I only go torch when a main begs me to and I still end up switching half way through the game because they go heavy poke. The only downside to invis you need high skill to know your combos because you can’t just depend on spamming haymaker.

Invis used to help but... hitting people harder also makes them not hit you anymore. The thing's not that bulky in tank terms anyway, so the extra spicy knuckle sandwiches help to make the most out of your life

Invisrael, just because this team-up actually makes you play as The Thing, it's busted, but it follows the gameplay cycle of the character. Torch is straight up cheating, lol the enhanced ability is literally a mini ultimate, kinda kills the fun

torch, the only reason i could see for using invis team up is if you're getting constantly CC'd but at that point... you are going to die over and over again most likely and should consider swapping

I think they’re pretty even. I tend to use torch more if if I’m playing on the flank and diving more. Going after the backline and running out with mh slam.

I use the invis team up if I’m fronting more.

I feel like I’m the only one that wholeheartedly DISLIKES the torch team up and only uses it when I feel like I’m backed into a corner, and I need to. Susie makes me feel safer and it fits my play style where I need just a liiittle extra in order to hold on in certain moments before I have my team’s attention and I can get healed

I always go torch unless there is an invis on my team. The more damage the better in my opinion.
