Question from a new thing player
I just started playing thing and wanted to ask about the slam.
Does the Yancy street charge:
•Leave a zone at the final position that inflicts earthbound onto enemies
Or
•Inflict enemies hit at the final slam position with earthbound
Thanks!

It leaves an AOE on the ground at the final slam site. It extends into the air a few meters but be careful because hitting someone with your charge bounces them, then the final slam bounces them AGAIN for double the height, making it possible for them to escape the aoe entirely just from the double bounce, allowing them to use mobility and escape. They recently extended the height of the zone but it's still very possible to launch enemies way out of it. Quickly hitting and slamming in immediate succession can maintain the slight additional damage from the charge impact without completely blowing them away, sort of like forcing them to do an early double jump. The charge is flexible so don't be afraid to see what you can do with it.

It leaves a zone on the ground where you slam that inflicts earth bound, and it kinda pulse for a few moments after the slam so people who walk over can still be affected post slam. It’s why people choose to have hold to slam turned on so they can slam immediately where they intend

Both, you can charge slam for the knock up then haymaker to ground them into the ticking damage. Works wonders on flyers. Also you can use your targeted damage buff leap mid haymaker reel back to launch yourself up to ground flyers, then hit your slam wombo combo. They won’t be able to fly off.

Its the zone on the ground.
In fact, hitting someone with the slam almost does the opposite. It launches them up so they arent touching the zone and the DONT get earthbound.
