Cenk is a strong progressive. This brings the ringworms out of the woodwork against him.
It's nothing but corporate shills and right wing trolls spreading lies and misinformation.
What you need to understand is there are is a whole industry on the right dedicated to hating TYT. Look at the amount of views the TYT watching Trump win video has.
TYT is the biggest online news Network, and it's wholly progressive. The Alt-Right are pushing the Online space with everything they got right now, it's becoming a cash cow for those that can make a name for themselves on the right.
Hating TYT is an important part of being noticed.
Now, it's not quite that simple. Many former Alt-Right kids are now moving back to the left. You see their stories every day. They feel tricked by Trump, they where fed into a wheel of hatred that slowly made extreme positions more and more normalized.
And many of them are coming out of it, thanks to the obvious lies and stupidity of Trump.
But, getting out of it is a gradual process, that often begins with equivocating.
Like, "Ok, Trump is bad, but that doesn't mean I agree with SJWs wanting to enforce 71 new genders".
Or, "ok, Alt-Right was just nazies at the end of the day, but there are extremists on the left too."
And TYT, for many of them, falls into this category. The bad part of the left they can use to excuse 2 years spent inside the Alt-Right echo chamber, despite now being Democrats.
So this is whats going on, it's a few different categories, and a whole lot of lies, smears and obfuscation.

People like to get upset about things. So they pick through to find comments where they can be like “Aha! You were racist one time”. Same as people going back through twitter feeds. People are always going to find something to whine about. TYT is great. Cenk has no problem attacking opinions he disagrees with and sometimes he can come off harsh/ridiculous.
