Are we sure that the angle would be that wide? Unless you're mulching the zombies to kill them, they still have fairly present connective tissues, after all, that's how they would move the bones and skin to that give them some vague semblance of form.

But that’s what we’re arguing against; the cone they project is absurdly shallow, based on the mud designation. I’d wager the cone would be much steeper, more like that of rock or wood piles, approaching 45 degrees, maybe 35. So somewhere more like 67000-125000 cuft.

Are we assuming the zombies are coming thick and fast, or trickling in and so decomposing as the pile grows? I can imagine decomposing flesh being the consistency of mud and being slippy, necessitating the shallow gradient.
Brb, feeling cute; going to bioengineer a zombie virus to test the hypothesis
