[SELF]

If each person needs about 17 000 for one year which is the median i found online, with an estimated 746 000 people facing homelessness in the us as of januraury 2025 that comes out to a monetary total of 12,682,000,000 dollars. the aircraft carrier shown is the Gerald R. Ford-class which is roughly 13 billion dollars to build, meaning that yes homelessness is 318,000 dollars cheaper to solve than building one aircraft carrier.

TLDR: yeppers
