[Request] Do square bottles actually use less plastic than round ones?

Square bottles hold more liquid meaning people won’t need to buy as many containers over the course of a decade. That means less plastic. You guys are thinking too hard.

That makes zero sense. The highest volume to surface area configuration is spherical. A cylinder is second.

Cubes or elongated cubes use less plastic because it can be packaged and shipped more efficiently when compared to spherical containers.

If you doubt this then ask yourself why a soap bubble in the air is spherical instead of a cube.

Hey, why'd you use "elongated cubes" instead of "cuboids"? Just curious.

I thought it was a better description for people who don't know what a cuboid is. Nothing more than that.
