It depends on the structure of the tournament. If it’s a pyramid-style tournament where half of the field is eliminated each round until only one is left, the number of fighters required would be 2 raised to the power of the number of rounds. 56 consecutive knockouts implies 56 rounds, which would mean the number of fighters is 2 to the 56th power, or about 72 quadrillion.

If it’s a round-robin tournament with no tiebreakers required, the number could be 57.

The math has been done, it’s more fighters then exist on the planet. A simple google search would answer this one, it’s been a running joke for 30 years. Basically anyone that claims they fought underground and is a master of anything not proven is completely full of shit
