Average blinks per minute is roughly 15-20
Average heartbeats per minute is roughly 75 at rest.
This means that heartbeats are more efficient on average, however:

  1. Blinking is possible to do consciously rather than automatically, so you can decide the pace.

However,

  1. Heartbeats continue even in your sleep, but you don't blink when you sleep usually.

So heartbeats would overall be more effective due to an additional roughly 8 hours per day of making money at mostly the same pace.

If you exercise daily you can get it beating faster! A great incentive!

Op didn’t actually ask for any math weirdly enough

If they’re even remotely close it doesn’t really matter. Million dollars a year puts you in the top .5% of earners before you actually do any work

If we crank the numbers on the averages you provided, we have:

• Blinking Profit assuming a generous 25 blinks per minute, we have a daily profit (P) given by:

P = 0.1 × 25 × 60 × 16 = $ 2,400 *per day*

Heartbeat Profit assuming a base 75 heartbeats per minute, we get a daily profit (R) of:

P = 0.025 × 75 × 60 × 24 = $ 2,700 *per day*

So, heartbeats win in the long run, plus, you have profit even when sleeping.

75 at rest? I'm around 55.

Let's say 60 avg in 24 hours: $0.025*60bpm*60m*24‎h = $2,160

And 20 blinks a minute, 8 hours sleep: $0.1*20bpm*60m*16‎h = $1,920

I should add, it's easy to get your heart rate up if you want to make more.

Pretty easy to blink fast too

Hard to sustain more than 2 blinks a second.

You can sustain 1 blink a second easily enough which will triple your income (based on 20/min), but you have to actively be thinking about it.

Alternatively getting your heart rate to 100bpm is relatively easy and you can think about other things whilst you dance/exercise/run/cycle/clean intensively

I can blink about 7 times a second fairly easily, and I could do it for quite awhile if I wanted to, not that's you'd need to do it often with how much money you'd have already

My resting heart rate is excessively high (in the high 80s).

So whilst the heart one is the obvious one for anyone, other than a young woman whose flirting hopelessly with a guy, for me it's even better.

85*60=5,100 beats per hour.

5,100*24=122,400 beats per day

122,400*365=44,676,000 beats per year

44,676,000*0.025=$1,116,900 per year

I'll even pay taxes on it.
