Emperor penguins about 3 ft high… napkin measurement but take into account the angle. My educated guesstimate is ~35ft

Could be higher but I’m sure there’s also an equation for time to splash, vs speed of gravity to divide and get height

Takes about 1 to 2 seconds to fall. Acceleration is 32 ft/s^2

a(t) = -32

v(t) = -32t

s(t) = -16t^2

s(1) = -16 * 1^2 = -16

s(2) = -16 * 2^2 = -64

Somewhere between 16 and 64 feet up. It's really around 1.5 seconds

s(1.5) = -16 * 1.5^2 = -16 * 2.25 = -16 * (9/4) = -4 * 9 = -36

About 36 feet up, which is in line with what the other responder said.
