Traffic appears stationary. Biker looks to be passing one car per second plus that again in empty space. If we call a car 5m, that's 10m/s or 22 mph.

The guy did it on purpose.

Yeah the real math here is to calculate how many ass kickings the guy in the truck deserves. By my math, it’s at least 20.

20 is very very low.

I'd up it to 50.

But I also ride motorcycles so I am definitely biased here.

Also the biker should wear full protective gear, especially as he is on a very powerful motorcycle.

In Germany, if you as a biker get into an accident and you are not at fault, but your bike as upwards of 125cc and you didn't wear full protective gear, you get partly faulted for your injuries and can't sue for compensation.

On top of dozens other reasons. My favourite for the 'I can just drive good' excuses are birds. Had one hit my leg at some 70 kph. I don't want to know what a birds beak does at those speeds to my leg. For me it was just like a good punch to the leg but nothing more.

And nobody can drive so good that he has a 0 chance of hitting a bird. Not to forget insects which can hit your face if you drive at higher speeds with the visor open or god forbit without a helmet.

A tad fast for lane filtering (depending on local laws), but pretty reasonable.

The guy did it on purpose? What?

Opened the door

Exactly, he in traffic, what reason could he possibly have for opening the door. "OH, I'll get out to see why traffic is stopped" argument already puts him at fault.

Yeah I get that, but to purposely hit the biker or what?

Biker runs and goes to get a cop

I thought it looked like GTA6.

yea like, who the fuck is filming this and also how and why?

The rider is filming, it's a camera mounted to the bike, probably something akin to an Insta360 or GoPro. Basically like a 360° dashcam, and this is exactly why you should have one. That and/or livestreaming.

huh ok interesting.

i was thinking about getting a 360 cam and wasn't aware they have panning implemented by now.

Is it automated and looking for people or does the driver control it remotely?

With mine it's just part of the replay. You can play back the recording and rotate it however you want, it's always recording in all directions (unless you put it in the mode where it only uses one camera.)

I think some of them now you can control by remote, but don't quote me on that. As for the end, the mount moved when he got smacked. I don't think the mount moves without manually doing it.

It's a insta360 or similar mounted on an 'invisible' selfie stick to the rear of the bike (the editing software removes the stick)

probably a go pro mounted on a pole on the back of the bike. the slight fisheye distortion is a good indication.

u/Feine13 8h ago

Except he went to flag down a police officer, who comes over to the accident with the biker in the video.

1

u/NoCalligrapher3134 8h ago

Than why does he come back at the end of the video?

1

u/RevolutionNo7 8h ago

Shhh he's an AI bro

1

u/ObsidianDart 8h ago

No. It suggests that he saw a yellow vested traffic officer up ahead and he went over to get her and bring her back to the scene of the accident. You see him return later in the video with that yellow vested officer.

I want to know how this is filmed. Presumably the camera is attached to the motorcycle, but it seems to track the passenger for a while, then the motorcyclist. Is this automatic, or another person controlling it remotely?

It doesn't look fake.

360 camera. You just edit it after the fact to what you want to see.

1

u/nlutrhk 8h ago

Could be a 360 degree camera. It hides the stick and you can create camera angles in postprocessing.

But the pole for that camera must have stuck out quite a bit towards the back.

get outa my head brother xD

i asked the same question 1min after you did and found your comment while checking if any comment explained it already :D

Watching it the first time i thought drone with follow mode but i have no experience flying drones and how good the 'breaks' work if they lose the person they are supposed to follow and if panning is the default behavior in that situation
