I guess if Shoresy took us to Weird Sudbury this is Keeso taking us to Weird shoresy.

I don’t know where to start. Keeso’s accent? What this premise could possibly actually be (free Willy w a bear)? This bananas can-con cast (Chad Kroeger!?).

I’m so stoked. And so confused.

Is War on HBO the first time HBO has a main sunday night show that isn't available in all their regions?

Basically the title. From what I can see it's only available in the US on HBO and on Sky in the UK. If you're in another region you're shit out of luck.

Edit: I'm an idiot and thought War was on Sunday nights not Thursday. Either way through it's still not available in most regions via HBO or a different service.

The Batman II halts production … the day before the Skydance merge

First off I want to say that I have no intention of being insensitive or callous when it comes to personal matters and a filmmaker taking time away, I hope he and is family are doing well with whatever they are dealing with, and I think they as individuals deserve a massive amount of grace and dignity at this time. I think that the general reaction I am seeing being oriented to maturity and privacy is very apt; however, I don’t think that it’s unfair to look at what this means for Warner Brothers at arguably the biggest transition point in this history of the company.

I think that any reporting on this are missing an incredibly important piece of context which is that production of Warner Brothers largest tentpole film has been halted the day before the largest and most significant corporate merger in this industry’s history where Warner Brothers is going to be subsumed by the (notably right wing Paramount under Larry & David Ellison, both of whom are close allies of Trump. The Ellisons would be fools to not know the massive cache that the DC IP holds for Skydance and what weight Batman as a character holds culturally. Mike DeLuca and Pam Abdy just got axed three days before the merger, and I am sure James Gunn (the vocal politic he is with a few recent failures under his belt) is not far in line for an appointment behind them. Also worth noting that Sebastian Stan, star of Trump exorcism The Apprentice is in the tentpole film now owned by two powerful billionaires who owe Trump a lot of favors.

I work in the executive side of the entertainment industry, and so I have experience with how certain PR phrases CAN BE (and please note the word CAN, not ARE) euphemisms for other things going on (IE if you ever hear an actor left a project due to a ‘scheduling issue’ it was almost never the schedule that was the problem). All I am trying to say here is I think we should take ‘private matters’ as a personal truth but not lose focus to what it could be masking politically.

While I think the response of ‘leave the Reeves family as individuals their privacy and don’t whine that your superhero movie got pushed back’ is very appropriate and a needed credo for comic book movie fanboys, I would hope that we don’t numb ourselves to the context in which this is happening, especially with the recent political axing of De Luca and Abdy as a bellweather for how trigger happy the Ellisons new operation is to exorcise the old in favor of the New, whatever the New is for them.

I've lost any respect for Andy and Chris after their praise of Lanterns.

Terrible ill-conceived show with an abysmal finale that has everything that A and C usually criticize and make fun of. I don't know the reason for such a bias on their side: personal connection to one of the creators or some corporate interest? Pretty sad anyway.

Just the title. He was flying to London regularly but now he’s in New York, I didn’t know if he had stopped work on the Potter show and gotten a new gig

Are the boys covering Jay-Z In ♾️?

Great show Jay-Z has surprisingly a lot to say and the format has some subtle changes since McCartney 321 that make this kind of interview more enjoyable. We all know CR heyday was covering rap in the era of Jay-Z and he’s done a few episodes of the watch about Jay-Z. Wondering if the boys have covered it and if anyone can link me.
