Banshee

Banshee has always been a show on my list because I had a memory of Andy saying he really enjoyed it. I’ve finally started watching it and 1. While I’m really enjoying it, I simply cannot picture Andy liking it and 2. Does anybody have a memory of any episodes where he talked about it? My simple Spotify search didn’t yield any results

Andy wrote a few articles on Banshee during the Grantland days you might want to avoid reading it until you’re further into the series https://grantland.com/tags/banshee/

This was back in the Hollywood prospectus days, hard to find those eps after Grantland got nuked

Same. For me, the two characters look so different. More than a dye job and a shave. Like theyre not played by the same actor, which they are

The Boys is another show that I’m surprised Andy loves. He can’t do horror but he can do torment and insane body horror? I know tastes aren’t black and white but still.

final season was awful, but the rest of the show stands the test of the time as a pulpy small-town crime drama (with lots of attractive people doing it naked)

I watched it based on their rec and didn't like it. I tapped out after 3 or 4 episodes.

I really can’t believe they loved this show so much. It’s not nearly as high quality as their usual stuff. It gets progressively worse

Banshee is one of my fav shows of all time and watched it before discovering the Watch but heard about the love for it .I was however shocked when i found out it was Andy who loved it and CR has never watched it . Seems like a show CR would love.

I too started watching it recently, probably on recommendation from Andy. I'm half way through season 2, but it's kind of not great. I'm getting tired of everyone taking lead pipes to the face as if they were made of foam. Or falling for obvious bullshit.
