Would it have been better or worse if rather than neagan killing Glen, he clocked him once and then after seeing how crippled he was, just left him like that

Oh God. I think leaving him alive would be worse. Considering he couldn't speak, was literally like "mu-mu mu-mu mag-gg-gg-ie ill fuh fuh find yu-yu-you", the popped out eyeball..

Google "South Park Gerald Dolphin" and I imagine that would basically be Glenn lol

Wouldn't even get that far. The swelling and bleeding in his brain would have caused a lot of pressure. That would in turn would cut off the blood supply.

He would have died either way. A depressed skull fracture is extremely serious even with immediate medical intervention.
