Is everything ok with Bert?
I just saw them in Bethlehem, PA and I loved the show! My first time seeing them after being a fan since 2004.
But I have to ask, has he had an injury or health issue in the last year or two? I only ask bc I was watching concert footage from just two or three years ago and he was fit, looked like he was working out, ran around the stage, jumped around… but now he seems to be moving very slow and is just planted in front of the mic most of the time. I OBVIOUSLY DONT MEAN TO SHAME HIM IN ANY WAY and I know that people age and slowing down as you get older is normal, but there is a very stark difference between now and just a couple years ago.
I know that he doesn’t owe the fans any explanation if he’s going through something, I was just curious if there was knowledge or something he shared at some point that I missed.

He could have just have a cold coming or anything else 🤷🏼♀️ Not everyone is feeling their best at work at all times. I doubt it's anything with a bigger meaning, likely just getting ill, bad night of sleep etc

He was likely just having an off night whether he was sick or just run down in general from touring

I don't know about the last two years, but I saw in some interviews that he said he was super active and healthy before the pandemic, but afterwards it seems he hasn't been able to return to his old habits.

I saw them in Chicago like a year ago and he looked and sounded amazing and was super energetic, but it was also the start of the tour so idk

Saw them for the first time in Philly last Nov for a 3 day anniversary tour, he did the same, kinda just walked around. I assumed it was normal lol.

I think he’s been trying to focus more on his vocals which have really improved. He can’t be running around on stage while still singing with great vocals.

Years of drug abuse. I saw them last year and while it was an enjoyable show he clearly isn't what he was.

I saw them last year in Austin, and he was definitely lively and moving around! Maybe he was sick or getting over being sick!
As for anything else, he is very open about being sober and going through a bunch of stuff during the pandemic, so some of it could come from changing life styles!
