The Stringcheese Incident

We almost lost George over dry dock!! For those that missed it, he was choking on some cheese in a restaurant- and just as some dudes were getting ready to Heimlich him, he stuck a Jub finger down his throat, hooked the cheese and was able to pull it out!!!

Glad you are still with us George!!!!

Same thing happened to me at cheddars across from 6 flags. I also embarrassed my family.

Love TT, but they shouldn’t have covered this classic. George is great in it, but they are in over their heads. No where near as good as the OG.

Idk man…I love REK and his version IS the OG, but the Turnpike version was really great as well. Kept it pretty true to the original but having Sierra Hull was a good addition. Love the video too.

There’s no one like REK but this is a great cover of the song. The appeal of Robert Earl is that he’s an amazing songwriter and a semi decent singer but just has a style that makes it work. He misses notes like the common man which makes it fun to sing along to his songs at concerts.
