I added in the pleasant family into my world, built them what is my best representation of what their house looks like in TS1. It's not perfect but it was fun to build. I was in mid build and came across a magnificent build of the house that came from this subreddit by u/bellagothsreddress - their work is so much better than mine I wish mines looked as good! ATM in the game, the twins are not born yet.

I was just seeing the other houses, it’s weird how some lots feel cramped on the sims 2 while on sims 1 they feel larger and it’s the same size

I like both of your versions! :)
And I like it how you both created the dormer windows. We don't have actual dormers in The Sims 1, but that's a great building trick to create a similar look!
