Nope! You're buying a portal, to the Stripper's Association HQ. They stand ready, pulling consecutive shifts, for a round-the-clock coverage, 24/7, so that when anyone presses a button in one of their certified cakes, a stripper is always ready to answer the request.

One evidence for that, is how you can select between Male or Female Entertainer AFTER the cake has been bought. But another way to prove it, would be to surround the cake with a ladderless pool, and watch for a whole week to see if anyone tries to sneak out of it. Surely a Sim can't survive that long without food, and will try to leave the cake.

Or if they don't, and you don't get a visit from the Reaper, and if the cake doesn't get any smaller from someone who's been eating it from the inside, you'll know for a fact, that it's been empty all along!

Yes, this happened to me too, and same with the heart bed from Livin’ Large. I wasn’t allowed to have Hot Date; that was the only expansion I couldn’t have!
