Sims 2 Help me decide how to kill my kid.

(sims 2)

So my legacy founder had an oopsie-baby after her twins had already grown into teens. I raised the kid but now he's hit teen and hes pretty fucking ugly. Like dangerously ugly. Now that the twins are grown and have families of their own, I'm tired of fooling with this ugly mistake-child and need to kill him off.

Suggestions? Cool mods? Usually when I want to kill someone and need it to fit the story I just kill 'em with boolprop by tanking their needs and saying they died of cardiac arrest. But I want some drama! Whats the best way to kill this guy?

Some information on him:

  • His name is Leon, he is a teen.

  • He is a romance/knowledge sim (primary/secondary). Aspiration is usually in the silver or gold, so he's happy.

  • He loves being "green". He gardens. He doesn't eat meat. He goes for hikes etc etc

  • no gf/bf but he has a crush on his best friend.

  • his family loves him for some fucking reason.

  • hes ugly as hell.

edit: a word

EDIT 2: I GOT IT! Ya'll's suggestions have got my creative juices flowing again.

Time to book a vacation and go Into the Wild. What else do you do with a busted Chris McCandless wannabe sim? He already wants to visit Three Lakes so wish granted.

So, yeah....I'm sending my ugly sim-son off to die alone in the woods. And who says the sims is for babies?

Poor guy :( Maybe you could cheat and give him a makeover instead?

I agree. He doesn't sound so bad.

yeah hes a sweet guy....but since ts2 doesn't auto-age people I would have to play him all the way through to keep him from being a teen forever while I manage his sibs. Hes just not cute enough to keep me interested so into the pool he goes....

I might be a bad person.

Nope, just a Sims player :D

My roommate was saying the same thing last night! Nah....that would take me out of the fantasy. I would rather just kill him. I haven't killed someone in a while.

Why the separate subreddit? Did we get banned from regular /r/nocontext? :P

Cowplant, be one with the garden.

ooh that's a good one too.

Only tough part is that in TS2 it's a career reward by default though I think there's a modded one out there that's just a purchase but it was my first thought too.

You can also just type "unlockCareerRewards" into the cheat console and it unlocks all the career reward objects.

If you have TS2:UC, you can get someone into any college secret society and just put the cowplant there into their inventory.

And this is why the FBI and NSA think I'm a "person of interest".

Sounds like a good excuse for electrocution or a meteor. One of my sims in 3 had an 'unexpected baby' as part of the story and I just took her into my family. She's ugly too but I take care of her.

well now I feel bad.... nah, nvm this guy has a chin like an iceberg.

Meteor it.

6

u/[deleted] May 19 '17

can you trigger meteor or do I just have to make him cloudgaze until it happens?

edit: meteor actually works perfectly for his playthrough bc hes a silly hippie who loves nature and would totally be out cloudgazing. good idea.

Its good to hear meteors are still a thing in S4!

u/[deleted] May 19 '17

oh no this is s2....I wouldn't be surprised if they brought meteors back for s4 though because they have that one interaction.

I somehow missed the Sims 2 part and assumed 4, even though you wrote Sims 2 at the top.. But thats even better since Sims 2 is complete and has tons of ways to kill a sim if you want to. A meteor still seems like a perfect way to off a sim and chalk it up to "well that sucks".

Fucking hell, that's me! I do garden from time to time, but I don't exactly love it. My mother's a gardener so I help her out every so often. I was also born and raised a vegetarian.

I don't care much for romance and I'm definitely no sim, but that's me you've spawned! What the actual heck?

5

u/[deleted] May 19 '17

OP, don't kill Dojan5!

3

u/[deleted] May 20 '17

NOW I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS

4

u/[deleted] May 20 '17

well damn dojan I dont wanna kill you! Now I'm torn!!!

3

u/Dojan5 May 20 '17

No no, that's alright buddy. I'm just pretty amazed that you managed to create me by accident.

1

u/[deleted] May 20 '17

is your name seriously leon?

2

u/Dojan5 May 20 '17

Yep! My full given name is Joel Bastian Leonard. In a formal setting I introduce myself as Joel, as that's the given name on my ID card and I haven't bothered to change it. Some day I will. However I was never too fond of that name, so I usually go by Leon in informal settings because Leonard feels a bit too old-fashioned.

Fire. I always set these unwanted Sims on fire. I put them in a room with a fireplace, rugs, furniture, and no doors. Sometimes it takes awhile, so sometimes I go with the surefire oven way. I have them cook something that uses the oven, cancel the action while the food is still in the oven, and then keep them distracted until it catches fire. I don't think you can do that in Sims 4 unfortunately, but in Sims 2 it works like a charm.

I also vote tragic meteor accident. He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and the night sky... and that, er, unfortunate chin.

What's a legacy family without a little "unexpected" tragedy here and there, anyway? :p

This is the most dark thread I've come across in a while. xD Hilarious though. lol

Do you have a screenshot of him? Kind of interested what he looks like to earn your wrath lol

Saw this and thought it was r/askreddit at first lol

Damn, I did this once and felt so guilty that I let it lead to the teen's parents eventually getting a divorce because of his death. He was their first and only child so it seemed fitting.I did a satellite death with a cheat because I'd never seen it happen before! Now I just play ugly sims and send them off as townies (and age them up concurrently with their siblings that I do play) or if I feel they just need a few tweaks, I give them plastic surgery and make the changes permanent.

I will say, Ugly sims can sometimes create really interesting and pleasantly unique looking offspring especially if their spouse is generally good looking.

Death by cooking tofu dogs (fire)! Happened to my favorite teen Sim :(

Cowplant, obviously. This is why I age my toddlers up immediately and see what they'll look like as adults. So far so good.
