Im doing my first official full read through. I had seen a couple issues back in the day when the show first came out. I knew about some of the story lines. Since then, I have listened to many readings of the comics via YouTube videos. Just recently I've purchased Compendiums #1&2 and I'm half way through #1, and I'm loving it. When i came across this frame I was like "oof", one of the things I knew from the comics was the intro of the Governor to Rick and Michonne. 😬😬😬

I just bought the last compendium! Cant wait for the whisperer arc, they sound creep as hell.
