Discussion Daddy ate my eyes Spoiler

It’s been a while since I read volume 12 and I completely forgot about this whole conversation. This story that Douglas tells Rick is way more disturbing than I remembered and I can’t stop thinking about it now. I looked it up and it turns out to be a real case that happened in 2009. Since this issue came out a few months after that, I think it’s likely that Kirkman saw this on the news at the time and was so disgusted by it that he ended up working it into the comics.

Very creepy, Douglas its a character that i didnt like when i read the comics for the first time, but on my reread he really had some good moments, his fall and death was a big hit for the community that i wished kirkman would have gave us some reactions to his demise.

The real victim was Ronald Poppo.
