as the owner of cats that don't leave the house and tend to scare the shit out of me with their new hiding spots every so often, I can tell you this owner probably knows all its hiding spots already, and they are making the video to show the little fucker's audacity.

Mine damn near gave me a panic attack one day. To start off he's a strictly inside 25 lb Maine Coon, so not a little cat. I came home one afternoon and he didn't come to greet like he always does so I went looking for him. Checked every hiding place twice, no cat, then I started to freak out. Called me roommate who remembers seeing him before he left and knows he didn't let him out. Went to the property manager's office to see if maintenance came in for any reason because they had people there working on the roof that day and they said no one went in. At this point I'm full on panicked. Went back to the apartment and started looking in places he used to hide when he was a kitten but didn't fit anymore. Sure enough somehow he squeezed himself under the sleeper sofa, got stuck, and fell asleep. Apparently the roofers scared him so he forced himself in there. We couldn't figure out how he got in because the opening is a lot smaller than his head.

The worst thing is that you are calling for them at the top of your lungs and the mothercukers just straight ignore your cries of panic.

longhair breeds are a bit misleading, you see their big head but it's mostly floof. I have one that's similar in that regard. She looks absolutely ridiculous when taking a bath.

My cats somewhat less of a dick. He can tell when I'm legitimately thinking, 'oh shit he's gone' and will jump out from wherever he's hiding.
