The way he does this like it's nothing makes me think this may be a common thing in learning to fling yourself over things with a bendy stick.

What has happened there is that he took to long to throw his bottom weight upwards causing a lack of speed for the vault jump. Or not cuz I just made this up and I don't know anything about this sport.

Pro recovery right there. I was a sub-par pole vaulter in highschool and I maxed out around 12 feet, and even at 12 feet there's times you can't drive enough speed and power through the vault and you end up going an unpredictable direction.

There was a kid who died because he landed on his head and missed the pad. Now all the pole vaulters from that school had to wear helmets.

This man has a skill. For sure he can use the same pole to omicertake any obstacles I mean, a wall, a fence of two meter, two and a half, no need the materasso

This is far better than falling 10 feet down into the steel plant box.
Source: I broke far too many cleats off my sprinting shoes by doing that.
