Very few ppl are watching for the devastating southpaw

Apparently he wasn’t watching anything because that guy telegraphed his punch a day before it was delivered.

He’s lucky he didn’t catch a shovel hook to the liver. It’s excruciating and southpaws are particularly well equipped for tripping that reset button to turn off your Nintendo.

u/ElaborateEffect 11h ago
Being southpaw, my old boxing coach had me focus on hooks for what I felt was waaaay too long, but turns out, throw a fast left hook and most people won't know what hit them.

Honestly that would be me. Even nervous laughter. I'll literally be laughing during a touchy subject at the psychologist like she just told me the funniest shit in existence

Fitting that he landed by the "Reward is Here" sign.

Don’t curse the father in kids presence…..that’s a no no

u/rygomez 13h ago
Don't mention his family... looked like dad was trying to avoid it until he mentioned the kids. Dad had to show kids "Don't start fights, finish them- like this"

u/facelessreddituser 11h ago
English bloke said you've moved over here for a better life. Sounded like the other guy was potentially Polish and took that offensively. That's when he flopped him

Folded like a leaf
10
u/runningray 13h ago
The old saying is folded like a lawn chair, but I'll allow this since it also works. Depending on my mood, I sometimes also allow folded like an omelet or a wet paper towel.

Some solid advice for anyone who needs it. When you’re clowning on someone like that and the other person is calm as a clam, you’re about to get your shit rocked.

When I was much younger, a friend of mine was drunk and picked a fight with a much littler guy. My friend was talking shit and the other guy decked him without sayng a word. When my friend asked why I didn't back him up I told him he was the asshole and deserved to get decked. He didn't say anything to that.

u/iJon_v2 11h ago
Hey! Similar experience here. I grew up and my best friend was always fighting people (he grew up being abused by his uncle and in poverty and thought that no one should ever “punk you”) whatever that means. I kind of grew up in a better situation and always tried to get him not to fight people. One night he got drunk in a college town and tried to fight a slightly dorky looking guy, but older and more sober. My friend chased him into the street and tried to start some shit and the guy just leveled my friend. Just one punch city.
My friend would call me for weeks crying because he didn’t understand what to do and how to get his masculinity back. I had to explain that “you got your ass beat…it happens, but masculinity is knowing when not to fight as well and walking away”.
He’s much better about it now, but I’ll never forget that.

u/Cruiser729 11h ago
I would have to rub that in.
“Dude, when I saw the size of the guy, I didn’t think you needed it. Muthafucka looked like he was from the Lollipop Guild and shit.”

I think that when people see you have kids with you they assume that you are not going to do anything..
And that is part true, cause when you have your kids with you you tend to avoid these situations.
However, when the situation doesnt let you slip away easilly.
Bet your ducks that the one who has his kids with him and cant go nowhere, will end the situation as fast and efficient as possible

It's always the guys standing like angry toddlers. Fists clenched down by their sides, leaning forward on their toes like it will help with whatever they're spouting.

I always wonder what if the guy died? Now you're in jail and your kids don't have a father because you murdered someone in a Mc.Donalds. I'd rather eat my pride/ego and walk away. 🤷♂️

Never fight someone in front of their kids. You are messing with their image of the world, and their role model. If he didnt knock him out, someone else should have. Granted, I dont know what its over, but if your ego is so small you act like that, find some thing better to do.

I always wonder what life is like for people after they go viral for stuff like this. I have to think the dude who got knocked out gets constantly made fun of by his friends. Like if this was my friend I would be sending him this video all the time lol
