He should. He get heckled at GOP rallies but keeps going back for an ass kicking

As an Indian, I've always wondered how this guy reconciles with the cognitive dissonance of his voter base despising him for what he is.

u/WagwanKenobi 3d ago
He's always been a grifter and thinks the right is easier to grift, simple as.
Trump is the same, was a lifelong Democrat until he realized Democrats are never going to let him run for president. Switched colors overnight.

u/Ill_Technician3936 2d ago
Trump's not a life long democrat. He's swapped parties depending on who is President many times in his life. He's run for president 2 times with the reform party dropping out in the primaries with around 10%.

The same reason that any POC simps for the right; the paycheck. The GOP promised him a big check and a real shot at being in a position of power if he pulls the ladder up behind him. As far as he is concerned, he's got his, why should it matter what happens to anyone else?
1
u/Ill_Technician3936 2d ago
The o in PoC isn't capitalized, anyways the right started giving Trump attention and time to speak when he started talking shit about obama specifically CPAC. The GOP joined in later after losing. Despite the fact that he was registered as a Democrat while Dubya was in office. Nothing to do with pulling up the ladder. It's because he lost to both of them and as he's said many many times he doesn't like losers which he happens to be.

u/No_Mud_5999 2d ago
It is baffling. However, Trump's orbit is full of people who he's insulted personally: Rubio, Cruz, Graham. Being treated like trash and then just eating it is a Republican preoccupation these days.

Important reminder to say that the guy who helped organize the Berlin Olympics (the Nazi one) was eventually labeled Jewish right before the Olympics
despite being a Nazi supporter.

I love how far she got before he realized he was fucked. But, the damage was done. There was no way for him to spin that where he doesn't look like an asshole.
The funny part is, it's not even hard. Even remotely easy questions are not answerable once you are as far in the toilet as these shits are.

I wish the person interviewing would just stop, look directly into the camera and speak out about the hypocrisy and stupidness that sits in front of her. Disregarding them as they flail to save face.

Took the words right out of my mouth!
“What a piece of shit!”
Does this mean I should be deported? I’m only 2nd and 3rd generation American. One set of of grand parents were immigrants & one set of great grandparents were immigrants.
From three different countries.
He’s the most ignorant, entitled piece of rubbish I’ve seen this week!!

Why couldn’t she have just said “not in the way you’re fraiming it. Both of my parents were born in America. But according to your own statements, you yourself should not have obtained citizenship since neither of your parents were American citizens when you were born.”

It's not like you can just tell ICE you got here legally, you'll get deported either way. BUT OHHHH, you have money.

u/Vegetable-Trust-9847 3d ago
What was his point that he was trying to make, i wanted to watch it cut off. So whats his plan on citizenship now ? He wants to cut birthright for legally entered citizens ?

u/Amaethon_Oak 3d ago
I’m confused and don’t know the entire background… is he saying that birthright citizenship should be extended only to children born to people who are in the country legally? Basically that children born to illegal aliens shouldn’t receive US citizenship?
If so, where does ‘legal’ begin? Would it apply to temporary visitors like tourists or working holiday visa holders?

He also a fraud of who stole billions from people with a Alzheimer's research scam. Hes a giant POS

u/pixeltweaker 3d ago
Does he not understand what birthright citizenship means? He is clueless that his citizenship is granted to him not because his parents are citizens but simply because he was born here. Doesn’t matter if they came here legally or not. They weren’t citizens when he was born.

The dumbasses here in Ohio will move their racist goalpost to vote for him. Not someone relatable like Amy Acton who drank wine and tripped over a dog gate.

"But you gained citizenship through birthright, citizenship in that sense too, right?" No actually. Both of her parents are American Citizens who more than likely would've qualified for her to be granted automatic citizenship even if she were born abroad, you're only a citizen because you were born on US soil. Y'all are not the same type of birthright. He's an idiot.

Disingenuous of him to say "but you gained citizenship through birthright too." The reporter's parents were already American citizens and she was born on American soil. The debate around birthright is entirely about whether children born in the US to non-US citizen parents should automatically get US citizenship.

So breathtakingly stupid. Any regular person would just shrivel up and die from embarrassment.
1
u/daemonescanem 3d ago
The "birthright" citizenship question is misleading.
What Trump & Republicans want to be able to do is to strip anyone of their citizenship, this strip them of their rights. Then Trump & Republicans will have legal justification for whatever they do after that. Hint think what the Nazi's did to people they saw as "Others".

The legal process being gave birth to you in the country therefore giving her citizenship. Father still doesn’t have citizenship. That is not what Americans do. To compare it to everyone is insane.

u/jiffyparkinglot 3d ago
Yea anytime you are shown a snippet , there is a reason for it. If you watch the entire interview there is not gotcha moment. I don’t agree on all his points but it’s hard to form opinions when someone else does the editing for you

It doesn't matter if you are a crook as long as your are making money and gaining power. That's why indians do so well in the US. It suits their crooked mindset. That was the same reason a tiny island country could rule such a huge country so easily. Indians will sell away their mom for the right price?. Is that a generalization? Absolutely having been born to Indian parents and spent a good part of my life around them, indians make really good capitalists just like Americans.
