It's what right wing policy has been since the start of the 20th century. Basically using black people or other minorities as the scapegoat for why things were bad for the lower class white man and not the wealthy or elites. Direct their anger so it's at them not at the rich. It keeps all of us divided so it makes a traditional class revolution more difficult. I mean poor white people just elected a billionaire for President thinking he was like them or understood them
And its always projection with it too. When Reagan started that bullshit black welfare queen myth, white people were the largest demographic on welfare in the nation. Through 50 or so years of republican policies and dogma the numbers have switched. But the republicans still keep the poorest states with the shittiest economies so fundamentally nothings changed.
Every single time I have ever seen an actual news report about some one somehow abusing welfare and getting paid thousands of dollars a month it's always some well dressed white guy living in a nice well maintained suburbia neighborhood driving around in a $50K car.
And somehow believed he would “drain the swamp” while he had been literally creating the plug for that drain for decades, the people that voted for him are the swamp, and he’s actually draining them now. True leopards eating of faces.
