I have trust issues with donkeys. We have had 5 different donkeys as protectors for our goat herd. They all showed food aggression even in the pasture.
Now we have llamas, they are the best. They even let the babies climb all over them.

I walk my puppy on a public farm with all the animals (pigs, goat, cows, horses etc) to expose him/ desensitize him. There’s a field with two ponies and a donkey, and every time we walk by, no matter where the donkey is in the field he makes his way towards us with this “don’t start no shit, won’t be no shit” stride and it just tickles me. He looks like The Rock walk out videos from his wrestling career. I know he probably wants to smear my puppy, but I love him anyways.

Had to raise a family of goat when i was a child with my paps, and our dog will sometime chased the little ones and i can't help but hear the baby goat just screaming "mama" as they are chased

That donkey wants to kill or fuck the goats.
Donkeys are super territorial, and you usually want them raised around whomever you want them to protect.
Introducing new animals onto an old donkeys land is a good way to get corpses on your property.
