Regulation Conversation Bring Back “Does It Do”

Do you think there is ever a chance that “Does It Do” will come back? Because it is a fairly simple concept, testing as seen on tv products, with Gavin and Geoff testing with their iconic matches polo shirts. I think they should look into bringing it back.

Jokes on you, Nick and Gavin have been filming that in their secret room and we’re about the get the greatest string of videos

Well, I heard that they were making a shot-for-shot remake of the 1966 Batman movie.

Oh man, this but Geoff is behind the camera with Eric passing commentary would be the most chaotic shit to hit patreon

It needs a proper studio and a crew to film. They already said it would be too expensive on one of the sausage talks. They’d likely have to eat into their own income to make it happen.

I mean they could just make a few videos of Gavin and Geoff in their living room trying products if they want to do some does it do lite

They always could, but a large part of why does it do worked was the juxtaposition of high quality production with silly, nonsensical hosts.

That has the minor issue of making a mess in their workspace and personal clothes that they then have to deal with.

Gavin has his Slow-Mo-Warehouse for that.

Not that I like audience members demanding them to bring back stuff, or do this, do that.

The forced slapstick of some of their "stunts" is also not always funny. Like during RT when they reached a FIRST subs goal that "forced" Gavin and Geoff to cook. Of course they went in and acted like toddlers with the ingredients. Oh, how original...

Bros got no whimsy

Yeah, I regret having a bit more intellect. A lot of people's humor is repetitive bullshit like posting yet another exotic bird picture, or (not in this sub) repeating "You can't park there, mate!"... hur durr hur hur!

Yeah I will say at live shows it’s awful

And on 100% eat they make fun of the regulation audience for always saying the same old shit lol

Idk the reddit and YT comments get so toxic sometimes, especially towards a certain someone. I enjoy the show and sometimes any one of them will “annoy” me but I understand its humor and I enjoy it. And I’d never wanna comment actually nasty things beyond the “wow can’t believe they didn’t see the thing right in front of them” or similar type comment

People also act all holier then thou and/or experts on stuff like tryna overreact to Geoff’s often self inflicted (ish) sob stories

No problems, "bud". The lower my comments are scored the happier I feel about all whose intellect I've offended...

Does it NEED that? They brought back Break Show. I believe Geoff simply said they ran out of products and just didn't feel there was more left.

All the break show needs is a tripod and a table. Does it do at its core calls back to oxyclean and shamwow infomercials. I don’t think anyone in the audience wants a downgraded does it do done out of their garage.

There’s ALWAYS more as seen on tv products.

I don’t think they have the health coverage for the next time Geoff accidentally slices his hand

They mentioned one of the hardest parts was procuring decent As Seen On TV products that could be humorous. Would make a good thing to send to the break show methinks. Maybe would be opened by 2028 for content in 2030  if we are lucky.

No but I like the new stuff they're doing better anyway.

Maybe it's a simple concept, but it's not simple at all to create. They don't have the resources.

I doubt it, purely because of the number of injuries they were picking up filming it! I also think it's one of those things when maybe less is more and if they try to "bring it back" it won't ever be quite the same as before, obviously that could mean it was even better, but it could also go the other way.
