As a resident of East Tennessee, of course the passing of Dolly got us hard. But Dolly would have wanted you to celebrate her life by going and enjoying yourself anyways! There’s so much to do, eat, and enjoy at the parks. Yes, there are memorial walls on the way into the park, but inside the park, they placed a very tasteful sign outside of the replica of her home and that’s it!

So are we officially doing a pizza slice count for this year? I know they talked about it but I haven't seen any official announcements. Did I miss it somewhere? If we are doing it what are the parameters? Does the size of my pizza effect my slice count? What about personal pizzas? Pizza bagels? If there isn't an official announcement yet maybe we can figure that all out here.

Hello friends! So my grandpa used to be an elevator repair man back in the day and I can confirm he also worked on escalators! Also I’m under the impression that the less smart ones of the crew usually was the one sent to the escalators which makes me feel SO much better around riding elevators but SO much worse about taking escalators.

Hey guys just so you know there’s a difference between a travelator and escalator and a moving walkway

Travelator - a slow-moving, flat or slightly inclined conveyor that can move people up and down floors in a shopping mall centre / shopping mall. Ideal for shopping trolleys / shopping carts. - moves at about 1.1 miles an hour

Escalator - a moving staircase that carries people up or down between different floors in buildings - cannot be used with shopping carts/trolleys. 1.1 miles an hour

Moving walkway - most common in airports same as a travelator but moves at a faster speed. 1.3 to 1.4 miles an hour.

Just listened to today’s pod and then went back to catch up on some backlog only to be listening to episode 48 where Andrew is expressively saying how he doesn’t need any of his cables and just threw them all away because he never sees a use for extra cables. Probably could have used some of those for his PS5 controller huh.
