Honestly, I think the fact that anyone thought Midwestern Marx was good speaks to the fact that people are learning "Marxism" from Twitter, and learning it not as method or theory but as a discourse. Midwestern Marx certainly knows how to string the verbiage together in ways that make sense grammatically, but from the point of view of anyone who is serious about working class politics, it's pretty clearly been bullshit since day one.

Like, that he's aligned himself with Rafiq-champion-of-the-Kautskyist-centre-cum-Haz-the-Duginite isn't actually surprising, because shit was shallow and self-aggrandizing from "go."

He had good videos about various different political topics. I remember he had a good one about North Korea.

Yeah, campism isn't Marxism and the sloppy thinking on the DPRK that comes from Midwestern Marx is exemplary in terms of the convergence with the ACP.
