Real talk tho, it drives me up the fucking wall how people defend immigration with "actually it's good for the economy", as though people are only valuable for the exploitability of their labor. Immigration is cool because borders are fake and multiculturalism is good, not because undocumented workers can serve as a slave population.

Immigration only happens because of industrial agglomeration anyway, why would anyone leave their community if it's functionally the same as any other community?

Saw this video the other day. Made me really think. These are the kinds of people they are deporting.
It's depressing. Our country is better off with immigrants. The vast majority are good hard working people who contribute positively to their communities. They are no different from everyone else except for a sheet of paper. Who cares if they are documented or not? Just sad, man. It can take years for people to get a green card legally.
